Note: I'm not quite done with the FAQ. I'll be adding more info. But this is a start as to what's going on.

What happened?

The Museum is becoming a portal. Instead of just listing the Museum pages, I'm expanding it to be able to include links to other resources.

Why, oh why, did you do this?

Well, I hadn't updated any Museum pages for literally years. But I still like to go out there and find other resources. This way, I can mush them all together, to create a centralized resource for old computer information.

Plus, since the links are now all in a database, it'll be easier to check for broken ones. And easier to fix them. And, I can, if I want, give other folks approval access, so they can approve added sites as well.

How do sites get added?

I might see something cool and add it. Or, you might see something cool and add it. On the right-hand side is the link for adding new resources. Anyone can add one. Just go to the appropriate category and then add a link to a site right there.

Isn't that dangerous?

Not really. They need to be approved before the public sees them.

What about the categories?

You can suggest new categories in the same way.

I hate this! I want the old pages back!

They're all still there. There's three ways to get to them:

  1. Go to the Make and Model category and choose from there.
  2. Go to the Site Map and choose from there.
  3. Go to the old main page and choose from there.
